Studio

rror is a Toronto-based audiovisual studio running out of 2 Antler St. We operate at the intersection of sound design, spatial systems, projection mapping, and lighting control — engineering environments that are technically robust and perceptually precise.

The studio is led by two working practitioners. Festival stages, gallery installations, immersive brand events, dance performance — we build the rig and run the show.

Nima Yajam
NIMAAH
Sound & systems

Multidisciplinary artist and sound designer working across immersive sound, moving image, and spatial installation. Nima builds high-intensity audiovisual environments where sound functions as both material and architecture — shaping perception, tension, and emotional charge within a space.

Drawing from experimental composition, film sound, and live performance, Nima develops site-responsive systems that blur boundaries between cinema, installation, and sonic sculpture. Work frequently engages themes of power, displacement, memory, and embodiment.

Multidisciplinary and new media artist based in Toronto, with a background in industrial design and graphic arts. Hesam's work focuses on immersive and interactive multimedia installations, using light and sound to explore sensory perception in objects and nature.

Through his art, he examines social issues like climate change, consumerism, and immigration, inviting audiences to witness their influence on unfolding narratives. Recent work includes the Lululemon immersive yoga experience, the Doors Open Toronto interactive installation at Assembly Hall, projection mapping for Bumi Festival and Tirgan at Meridian Hall, and the Teach Project infinity-room installation at Bermont Studio.
